In November last year we welcomed Sarah Casely as the new manager of the West Coast Trades Academy.

Sarah has experience in a range of industry sectors including education, tourism, telecommunications and online media – specialising in marketing, communications and project management. She lived in in the UK and Wellington before moving to the West Coast six years ago with her husband and three children.

“The West Coast Trades Academy is a great opportunity for students who are looking for work-based learning where they can focus on real skills, develop independence and responsibility for their career options,” Sarah says “Schools have been very positive about the Trades Academy programme as it offers more options for students for how and what they wish to learn.”
